Pursuant to House Bill 937 of 2022, MHBE, “in consultation with the MIA, shall convene a workgroup of interested stakeholders to make recommendations to improve the transparency and accessibility of consumer information about abortion care coverage.”

MHBE “shall report the recommendations made by the workgroup… to the Senate Finance Committee and the House Health and Government Operations Committee, in accordance with section 2-1257 of the State Government Article” by January 1, 2023.
