Find us at the Baltimore Running Festival as we race to get Marylanders covered!

run fest shoesInjuries happen. It’s a part of life when you’re a runner. That’s why it’s so important to have health insurance.

With less than three weeks until the start of Open Enrollment, Maryland Health Connection is a proud sponsor of the Baltimore Running Festival, and we’ll be on-site throughout this year’s 15th anniversary event.

Run on over and find us Thursday and Friday at the Health & Fitness Expo at M&T Bank Stadium’s club level (noon to 8 p.m.). The expo is free and open to the public (even if you’re not participating in the race).

We’ll also be at the race on Saturday, Oct. 17, in Celebration Village (8 a.m. to 3 p.m.) at Ravens Parking Lot C, near the race finish line.

We’ll have important information about health coverage options, including when and how to enroll, and we can also help connect you with free, in-person enrollment help in your community.

Running shoes? Check. Socks? Check. Health insurance? Wait, what? Make sure you have all the gear you need by checking off the most important thing on the list: health insurance.

More than 742,000 Marylanders who’ve enrolled through Maryland Health Connection this year are enjoying the peace of mind that comes with having health insurance. If you’re not covered, visit the Maryland Health Connection booth for information on health coverage options. Open Enrollment for 2016 starts Nov. 1.
