What is Changing for Next Year?

As several connector entities had sought help in supplying responses and messaging for potentially anxious consumers, we’ve created a webpage on MarylandHealthConnection.gov that will be updated often to try to provide answers to common questions from our consumer-assistance community and Marylanders themselves about the future of the marketplace.

We’ll continue to update this page, What Is Changing for Next Year?, when there are developments you should know about first.

Currently we’re posting answers to these hot topics:

What will happen to an undocumented family member? Can he or she still get health coverage?

Do I still have to pay the penalty?

We’re also taking a look at what we’ve said already on the future of health coverage in Maryland, and how our marketplace is doing in reducing the uninsured rate and covering 1.1 million people.
