K. Singh Taneja
K. Singh Taneja is chief operating officer of Saint Elizabeth’s Hospital, a publicly funded psychiatric hospital in Washington, D.C. Prior to that, he served as chief operating officer of Prince George’s Hospital Center and held other senior leadership positions at Dimensions Healthcare System.
He is an effective professional executive with more than 35 years of senior level experience in healthcare – for-profit, not-for-profit, public, and university owned or affiliated trauma centers. Mr. Taneja’s broad experience combines extensive financial management, hospital operations, multi-specialty physician practice, long-term care, and merger-acquisitions. He has a proven track record of turnaround at financially challenged and complex facilities.
His education includes a bachelor’s degree from Delhi University and a master’s degree from University of the District of Columbia.
Mr. Taneja is a past member of Maryland Health Benefit Exchange Advisory Committee on continuity of care, and serves on the board of Court Appointed Special Advocate for Children (CASA) of Prince George’s County. In 2016, he was awarded Outstanding Healthcare Leader from the Maryland India Business Roundtable.
